Dr. Ben Beeler is a scientist holding a Ph.D, most likely in paleontology. He has shown an interest in fossilised dogs and giant alien spiders. Later, he is shown queuing up for the new eyePhone.
In August of 3010, he spoke at the World Bone Premiere of the Homo Farnsworth and can later be seen at the Comic-Con Intergalactic in the costume contest, disguised as the robot devil.

Trivia
- Beeler's name is very similar to that of episode writer Ken Keeler who, like Beeler, holds a PhD and can therefore be referred to as "Doctor". Beeler's collegue actually bears a stronger resemblance to Keeler.
- In recent episodes, Beeler began speaking with a lateral lisp.
